This business has been a side project, and I currently need to focus on other endeavors for the time being. However, I hope to take on new work starting again later Fall 2026 or early Winter 2027, but the scope of projects I take on will likely be smaller at that time. Here at Glacier Upholstery, we want to offer high quality upholstery and repairs at a reasonable price. Whether you simply need to fix a tear on your ATV seat or revamp your dining chairs, we’re here to help.
Current Services
Glacier Upholstery is happy to offer repair and replacement upholstery for the following categories:
- Recreational and off-road vehicles (ATV’s, side by sides, motorcycles, etc)
- Medical exam tables and chairs
- Home and outdoor furniture
- Restaurant benches and chairs
Future Services
We do not currently offer the following services, but we hope to expand into the following categories as our skillset develops:
- Antique furniture upholstery
- Vintage and classic car upholstery
- Boat Covers/Large Covers (our shop is too small at present)
Our Story and Ethos:
Glacier Upholstery was started by Shane Johnson, and one of his greatest passions in life is to create beauty and add order back to our chaotic world. After exploring several different career options over the years, from teaching 8th grade to roasting coffee, Shane has always been happiest when he can fulfill those fundamental passions of creation and restoration.
Even though Shane was raised by a master upholsterer, he is still training and is gaining expertise with every project. Good marketing would tell us to hide that fact to attract more sales, but we think it’s vital to be upfront from the start.
Simply put, we will only take on projects we know we can complete with excellence. Your happiness and our reputation is what matters most, so we will always let you know if the project isn’t a good fit for us. We would rather lose a sale then do a poor job and lose our reputation.
